Hello, everyone. My name's Rich. I am glad to be a star student. I come from Taizhou and I have lived in Suzhou for nearly fourteen years. For finding a new job in the near future, I planned to improve my English. Through personal recommendation, I started learning English in World English in March, 2017.大家好，我是Rich，很高兴成为一名明星学员。我来自泰州市，已在苏州居住了将近十四年。为了能在不久的将来找到一份新工作，于是我计划去提高自己的英语水平。通过熟人推荐，我于2017年3月份在沃尔得英语培训机构开始了英语学习。
Before that time, I hadn't been learning English for almost twenty years, and up till then I had forgotten a great many words, because I let it go as soon as I graduated from Jiangsu university in 1998. So, at that time, it was difficult for me to make a decision to learn English again.在那之前，我没有学习英语将近二十年了。直到那时，我已经忘记了大量的单词，因为我于1998年从江苏大学一毕业就把英语放到了一边。因此，在那时，做出再次学习英语的决定让我感到困难。But I did it in the end, because I didn't want myself in the future to regret that I gave up English learning ,and I ever believe " Chance favors the prepared mind".但最终我还是下了这个决定，因为我不想将来的自己为放弃英语学习而后悔，我一直相信“机会眷顾准备好的人”。
At the beginning of English learning, I faced the same problem as most of you, that is weak English listening. In order to improve it, since then I have been practising. Every day I always write down what I hear when listening to the audio again and again until I can write them all out.在我的英语学习之初，我和你们大多数人一样，面临着相同的问题，那就是英语听力弱。为了提高英语听力水平，从那时以来，我一直在训练听力。每天当我听音频时，我总是将所听到的内容用笔写下，一遍一遍直至将它们全部写出。I firmly believe I can make progress only if I practise and practise and practise.我坚信，只要我练习、练习、再练习，就能取得进步。而实际上我的英语听力水平也正如我所坚信的那样在不断提高。
